This song was written by my good friend and extremely talented artist, writer, and musician, Michael Logen. I recorded it a few years ago and it’s one of my favorites that I’ve ever recorded. I feel like it’s one of the best representations of my sound that I’ve put out there so far. I’ve been playing “Better Man” for quite a while now and have had a chance to live with it and really find ways to make it my own. This version is what I’ve found. Playing with me on this video are my friends and fellow musicians, Nathan Hufford (formerly of “Jackson Waters”) and Ryan Ochsner (He currently plays for Kelly Pickler).

This song is titled, ” Beautiful Attraction.” (Name revision due to helpful fan comments.) I wrote it with a very talented writer named Luke Brown here in Nashville about a year ago. If you’ve been to any of my shows in the last year or so you may have heard it. I’m hoping to record it soon and get it out there for you all to hear.

Looking For A Road (Theme From Dale)

JoesPlace just added Brent Keith Smith to the top 50 list for this year. He’s the guy singing “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love” in the preview the show has been running. Back when, he went by Brent Keith. We wonder what name he’ll be using on the show. But either way, he’s a plant who has videos on the CMT website (such as the one above), was on Nashville Star 2, and he had the title song to a movie called Dale. Seriously, Idol. Knock it off with these plants. What the hell does this guy need Idol for?

He did so to get a good grade,- college essays. I think has helped.

Dale Shines a Spotlight on Brent Keith

He’s seen the film and heard the Dale soundtrack CD, yet Brent Keith still isn’t accustomed to having his music placed alongside classic tracks such as Brooks & Dunn’s “Hard Workin’ Man” and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama.” Beyond that, the 27-year-old Ohio native also never expected to sing the theme song for the documentary that is the authorized film on the late NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Classic tracks by Brooks & Dunn, Travis Tritt, Alabama and Bruce Springsteen will be featured on the soundtrack CD for Dale, the feature film that is the only authorized biography of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. Set for release Aug. 28 as a venture by CMT Films and NASCAR Images, the soundtrack CD will be sold exclusively at all Wal-Mart stores and Walmart.com. The soundtrack also includes the film’s title track, “Looking for a Road (Theme from Dale),” performed by newcomer Brent Keith. The music video for the song debuts Thursday (Aug. 2) on CMT Top 20 Countdown. The 12-song soundtrack CD includes Brooks & Dunn’s “Hard Workin’ Man,” Tritt’s “T.R.O.U.B.L.E” and “I’m Gonna Be Somebody,” Alabama’s “Forty Hour Week (For a Livin’)” and “Can’t Keep a Good Man Down” and Springsteen’s “Blood Brothers.” Others featured on the soundtrack CD include Creedence Clearwater Revival, Motley Crüe, George Thorogood, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Charlie Daniels. The film will make its television debut on CMT on Sept. 4.
